This is a good product, I gave this to my neighbor next door. He needs to use this thing. According to his reaction, this needle is better than the one he is using now because the needle is smaller and less likely to feel pain. Can hardly feel the injection! I ordered these for my wife's insulin pens (Levemir FlexPen) and she loves them. She tells me she can barely even feel it when she does the injection with these, they work great. They do suggest counting a few more seconds after the injection to be sure all the medicine has gotten through the smaller diameter needle, but that's no big deal at all.Injecting yourself daily, comfort is king.

Droplet Micron Pen Needles I don’t know a lot about needles so I did some research on them recently. What I found out is the G such as 32G refers to the gauge or thickness of the needle. The mm such as 3.5 mm refers to how long the needle is.The 3.5 on these is very small relative to other needles - so it should be less painful then a longer needle. I was able to compare one of these 3.5mm needles to one only slightly larger at 4mm. To my surprise even at that small difference the size difference is very noticeable. In my photo the pink tinged cap is 3.5mm.I did a search and found that Amazon has many 4mm needles that are about half the price of this box of needles. So it really comes down to if that .5mm difference is worth the extra dollars to you. If you are very sensitive to needles it may very well be. You get quite a few in the box and they should last a while depending on how often you use them. .

Some Won't Screw Off As you can see, they fit perfectly on the pen. They just don't come off well. When you screw the top back on in order to remove the base from your pan, it's only a 50-50 chance that the base will come off.I'm not sure if they're as sharp as the namebrand, but that might just be me.Other than that they seem like a pretty good option.

To get the most out of your diabetes medicine, knowing how you inject is just as important as remembering to inject.

Always consult with your healthcare provider regarding best practices when administering your insulin. With 34G x 3.5mm, always remember to inject at a 90° angle, to ensure accurate delivery of your medicine into the subcutaneous fatty tissue. After completely depressing the insulin pen’s thumb button, count slowly to 10 before withdrawing the needle from the skin. Finally, pen needles are intended for single use only. Remember to change and properly dispose of after each injection.10

How you inject is just as important as remembering to take your medicine.10

It’s the LITTLE things that make the biggest difference.

Yes, Micron is suitable for ALL patients. Everyone's skin thickness is between 2 and 2.5mm, on average, regardless of BMI, gender, and age.

Droplet Micron is 3.5mm, long enough to enter the subcutaneous tissue where the insulin needs to go.

Yes, Micron is long enough to penetrate the subcutaneous tissue where insulin should be deposited. It is important to utilize proper injection technique, including holding the needle in place for 10 seconds after the medication is released.

As long as the injection was correctly administered, following the proper injection techniques, including not reutilizing the needle, Droplet Micron will not break or bend.

Pen needles should only be used once, then dispose. This can increase the chance of experiencing pain when injecting as the needle tip is dulled; used needles also increase risk and cause possible needle clogging and inaccurate dosing.

Droplet Micron is intended for use with a pen injector device for the subcutaneous injection of medication, including insulin and GLP-1 RAs.
